Please note: Online donations are subject to PayPal transaction rates of 2.89% + 0.30 USD. For larger gifts, ACSF strongly encourages the use of wire transfers or checks to avoid online transaction fees.

 
 
 

Emergency Assistance Fund

Matching Gifts

Matching gifts are an excellent way to add strength to your gift. Many large corporations have an employee matching gifts program where they will match your gift 1:1! Volunteer for ACSF or ACS? Some employers will even match volunteer hours with cash to the nonprofit! Ask your employer for more information.


Recurring online giving

Recurring Online Giving is a great option for you if you want to GIVE BIG one small monthly donation at a time. Tax acknowledgment receipts for recurring donations are mailed annually in January.

Memorial funds/honorariums

Memorial Funds/Honorariums - You can make a gift in honor or in memory of a special person or occasion. At your request, the Foundation will notify the appropriate person of your thoughtfulness and keep the amount of your gift confidential.

Asheville Promise Scholarship

In order to support the academic promise of our students, the Asheville City Schools Foundation administrates over $180,000 in scholarship awards each year to deserving Asheville High and SILSA students to continue their education. Learn more about scholarship giving here.


Distribution of Assets

You may provide for the eventual distribution of assets, such as real estate or life insurance policies, potentially gaining tax or financial benefits. You may also include the Asheville City Schools Foundation in your will or living trust. IRA Required Minimum Distribution

If you are 70.5 years of age or older, you can make a gift to ACSF from your Individual Retirement Account! Your gift is free of federal income tax, counts toward your annual Required Minimum Distribution (RMD), and is excluded from your gross income. Click here to learn more!
