Sara Metzger

Sara Metzger brings a deep passion for education, community, and connection to her work. After spending more than 20 years as an educator, Sara continues to support students and schools through her work at ACSF and her own personal commitment to strengthening our local public education community.

A proud parent of two Asheville High School graduates (go Cougars!), Sara has a lifelong love for Asheville City Schools and previously served on the ACSF Board of Directors before joining the Foundation staff. She is excited to continue using her experience, energy, and talents to support ACSF’s mission and the incredible students, educators, and families we serve. Outside of work, Sara loves finding joy in the everyday, laughing often, and making meaningful connections with the people around her.
