LEAF GLobal Arts
LEAF Global Arts is pleased to offer field trips! A standard field trip package is up to 2.5 hours long for up to 36 students and includes workshops with up to three Teaching Artists in the areas of global music, art and dance. Students will also have the opportunity to tour the space, interacting with more than 10 engagement stations to help them explore and learn about the world and other cultures.
Customize your trip! All field trips are customized to suit your students' needs. If the packages listed don’t suit your group’s needs, reach out and we will find something that works for your group! You may also add on workshops with Teaching Artists or sessions with Curators.

Goals
To engage students in a project that will bring them closer in celebration of unity. Students will:
Define and discuss what it means to be a Global Citizen.
Define and discuss these key words; global curiosity, diversity, respect, tradition, culture, community, unity.
Name character traits that make someone a good global citizen.
Be asked to share what they know about another culture.
Ask students to search for music and art from other cultures and share their findings
Learn new ways to say hello or love in different languages.
Listen to music from LEAF artists from around the world.
Discuss how music plays a role in connecting people from different cultures.
