A critical part of our work has been empowering educators through grants and Fellowships. We have partnered with Asheville City Schools (ACS) to support more than 120 teachers as Fellows and hundreds of other teachers through Innovation grants. We are so grateful for the tremendous work our ACS educators have accomplished with these resources.

Applications for these funds ARE NOW AVAILABLE

The ACSF awards scholarships to educators because we know that highly trained educators inspire high achievement among their students. These scholarships allow educators to further their educations and pursue advanced degrees and certifications, to stay current and expand their strategies by attending conferences and professional development, and to increase the students they reach by taking on new responsibilities and roles within the Asheville City Schools. Awards are typically $250 per educator.

TAPAS has maintained the ability to be a cost-effective, far-reaching program with a profound impact on both individual artists and students in our community.
