The Asheville City Schools Foundation is an independent non-profit organization dedicated to educational success for all city schools students.
Since its inception in 1988, the Foundation has:
Allocated over $545,000 in community-funded grants to teachers.
Awarded over $670,000 in scholarships to students.
Recruited and trained over XX volunteers for tutoring and mentoring students.
To maintain our good work, the programs relies on community contributions. Only 8% of the Foundation’s total budget goes toward general operating costs, and 100% of that money is raised yearly from the community.
As part of our commitment to the Asheville City Schools, the Foundation accepts donations to designated funds. To set up or contribute to a designated fund, please contact us.
